First run in a while. Felt good. I’m still taking it easy since my calf still twitches and tightens from time to time. I’ve been feeling really down about myself, my eating and my lack of exercise. Then, during and after the run, I started feeling good. As usual! I’m encouraged. And puzzled. Why don’t I stick with something that makes me feel so good and is so good for me? Why do I resist eating right and running consistently?

I feel great, because I had a good run, it’s my second run in a row and because I’m back on track. And because I’m on the track, so to speak. hahah Really it feels fabulous to run and it feels great to have a plan and have goals and to be pursuing them.

Today was sunny and new. I had my first run in a long time that felt really good. I stayed between 5.0 and 5.5 mph (heavy on the 5.0, light on the 5.5) and my calf didn’t hurt at all. I felt really good during and after. Feel really good now.
